It's a very special task, designing a hospital lobby, as a hospital is a place that can evoke many emotions from the many people who walk inside it's main entrance.  We wanted to be sensitive to that atmosphere, and create a beautiful space that evoked health, warmth and peace.  Collaborating with BLD Architecture, we took an original interior, with very low ceilings and brick clad walls, and created a space that opened up the lobby, with tones of the ocean, which was just miles away from their doors.  Sand tones, cool blues and greys mixed with glass and marble, creating a mix of both modern and warm elements.
