Located in the blossoming waterside downtown of Bay Shore, New York, Fatwood Southern Kitchen, a hospitality concept created by restauranteur Andrew Dvorkin and his partners, features southern style comfort food and BBQ by acclaimed chef Mark Bynum, whose food has been featured on the Food Network's Chopped and in "O" Magazine. 

The interior design concept started from scratch here, just like the cooking.  Wanting to work the old with the new vibe of southern comfort, we refurbished an old brick building into a warm, welcoming local spot, the feels at once cool, but comfortable, with both industrial and warm elements, creating a bold, hot new spot, that has the charm of being back home.

The Astorian was created to house two very distinct, yet connected drinking sensibilities.  The main floor bar features the renowned offerings and vibe of their newsworthy whiskey den, with an open air back garden room, while the upper level, known as the "Loft", let's the classically cool cocktails take center stage amongst a vibe of urban glamour.
